This symposium will consist of nine high school and/or college level presentations of 20 minutes each. All areas of chemistry, chemistry-related, and science education topics are invited.
This symposium has the following objectives:

Provide information to local teachers, parents, and interested parties about activities promoting advancement in science education.

Provide ideas to attendees for improving their contributions in this area.

Provide opportunities for teachers to have peer-to-peer discussions with each other and speakers regarding activities to promote science education.

Provide opportunities for students to network with local industry personnel and discuss possible career paths.
The presentations will provide interesting topics to industryand academic personnel that are outside their typical field of interest, such that it promotes their general knowledge of science.
